There is many different brands of oil filters available for your vehicle, the type you get is based on what the experts for the kind of car you have suggest unless you have a brand that you prefer. For me, I drive a Ford so I always get Ford Motorcraft oil and oil filter, if I can’t get Ford Motorcraft then I get a Fram oil filter and Valvoline oil. To ensure that you can keep track of when you change your oil filter I suggest getting a piece of duct tape and writing the mileage and date that you changed your oil.
